Welcome to AFORMA, a multidisciplinary design studio that creates and curates limited-edition objects, ready-to-wear, jewelry, accessories, and home design pieces. We operate on a pre-order model for our jewelry and release limited-edition collections for all other categories. Below are answers to our most frequently asked questions. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact us.

What is AFORMA?

AFORMA is a design studio and concept brand that creates and curates limited-edition pieces across multiple disciplines, including:

  • Jewelry (pre-order only)
  • Ready-to-wear (across different categories)
  • Accessories & leather goods
  • Home & lifestyle objects
  • Curated finds from our travels

Each collection is intentionally designed, produced in small batches, or sourced from global artisans. We focus on craftsmanship, storytelling, and sustainability, ensuring every piece is unique.

Why do you use a pre-order and limited-edition model?

We believe in slow, intentional design rather than mass production.

  • Jewelry is made-to-order (pre-order only) to minimize waste and ensure craftsmanship.
  • All other categories are limited edition, meaning once sold out, they will likely not be restocked or might be launched with design updates or new colors.

This model helps us maintain exclusivity, sustainability, and high quality.

How often do you release new collections?

We don’t follow a fixed calendar—our releases are based on design readiness and availability. Some drops happen seasonally, while others are spontaneous. Subscribe to our newsletter for updates.

ORDERS & PRE-ORDERS
How does the pre-order system work for jewelry?
  • Pre-order is the only option a customer will see on the jewelry pages. Once an order is placed the item will be produced and then shipped. (dates specified on product pages).
  • Jewelry ships within 4-6 weeks (timelines are listed on each product page based on the complexity of the piece).
Are other categories also pre-order?

If they are this will be communicated with a tag on the product and a message on the product page. 

Can I cancel or modify a pre-order?
  • In general, you cannot cancel or modify a pre-order item. 
  • For jewelry, you have a 24 window. After that, production begins, and changes are no longer possible.
What happens if I miss a pre-order or limited-edition drop?

Since we don’t restock collections, we recommend:

  • Signing up for notifications on the product page.
  • Following us on Instagram (@aformastudio_) for launch alerts.
  • Subscribing to our newsletter for early access to new drops.
PRODUCT DETAILS & CARE
What materials do you use?

Each collection varies, but we prioritize high-quality, sustainable materials such as:

  • Jewelry: 18k gold and gold-plated silver
  • Ready-to-wear: Premium fabrics with a focus on sustainability
  • Accessories & home objects: Natural materials like leather, stone, wood, glass, and metal

Each product page lists specific materials and craftsmanship details.

How do I care for my AFORMA pieces?
  • Jewelry: Store in a soft-lined box, avoid water and chemicals, clean with a polishing cloth.
  • Ready-to-wear: Follow garment care labels. Hand wash or dry clean when necessary.
  • Accessories & objects: Care instructions vary, please refer to individual product pages.
Are your pieces sustainable?

At AFORMA, we prioritize thoughtful design and craftsmanship over mass production. While not all of our materials are classified as “sustainable,” we focus on:

  • Longevity – Our jewelry is designed to be cherished for years, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
  • Small-batch production – We avoid overproduction and excess waste by operating on a pre-order model for jewelry and limited runs for other categories.
  • Curated craftsmanship – We work with skilled artisans and high-quality materials to ensure lasting value.

We believe that sustainability is also about intentional consumption, and we encourage our customers to invest in pieces that truly resonate with them.

SIZING & CUSTOMIZATION
How do I choose the right size?

Each ready-to-wear product has a detailed size guide on its page. If unsure, contact us at support@aforma.com for personalized advice.

Do you offer customization or made-to-measure options?

Currently, customization is not available unless specified on the product pages, but we may offer bespoke pieces in the future. We do take special orders for jewelry designs, contact ana@aforma-studio.com to discuss your ideas, materials, timeline, and price. Sign up for our newsletter for updates.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Do you ship internationally?

Our jewelry is currently only available for U.A.E orders, but for our ready-to-wear and objects, we ship to the GCC, Europe and the UK (check if your country is available at checkout). If your country is not available, contact us to see if we can find a solution for your specific case. Orders will be shipped DDP, and shipping is free. Delivery times depend on the destination.

How long does shipping take?
  • Pre-order jewelry: Ships within 4-6 weeks after production begins.
  • Ready-to-wear, accessories & objects: Ships within 3-5 business days if in stock. If pre-order read the information on the product page. 
Will I need to pay customs or import duties?

All orders should be DDP.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link via email.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What is your return policy?
  • Jewelry (pre-order items): Final sale, there are no returns on the jewelry items. They are made to order based on the customer's size and specifications.
  • Ready-to-wear & objects: Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery (must be unworn, in original packaging).
Can I exchange an item?
  • Jewelry & curated objects: No exchanges due to their made-to-order nature.
  • Ready-to-wear: We do not offer size exchanges. You must return your order and place a new order with the correct size. 
PAYMENTS & SECURITY
What payment methods do you accept?

We accept:

  • Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex)
  • Apple Pay & Google Pay
  • The options you see available when you checkout
Is my payment secure?

Yes! Our website uses SSL encryption and trusted payment gateways to ensure a secure checkout process. All payments are processed via Stripe on Shopify. 

COLLABORATIONS & WHOLESALE
Do you collaborate with artists or designers?

Yes! We love working with independent artists, designers, and makers to create exclusive or limited items. If you're interested in collaborating, please email marketing@aforma-studio.com.

Do you offer wholesale?

We do not currently operate on a traditional wholesale model. However, if you're a retailer interested in carrying AFORMA pieces, email us at ana@aforma-studio.com.
