AFORMA is Ana Canadas & Alex Holstein creative passion project. Together, we’ve spent our lives immersed in the world of design, art, and creative expression, and now we’re bringing those experiences to AFORMA—a studio that reflects our shared vision for timeless, meaningful creations.

With over 15 years of experience in luxury e-commerce, Ana’s career has taken us from Lisbon to London, Paris, and Dubai. With degrees in Graphic Design from the Fine Arts University in Lisbon and Fashion from Central Saint Martins in London, Ana combines an artistic background with strategic expertise.

Alex has spent his career in the creative industry, with a Master’s in Communication Design from LCC in London. His work in advertising agencies across London and Dubai has always been driven by a commitment to innovative and impactful communication.

We are avid art collectors, always searching for the next inspiring artist or piece. Together, we share a deep appreciation for the creative process, and that passion is at the heart of AFORMA Studio. We split our time between Portugal and Dubai—two places that shape our vision and inspire our work. Portugal grounds us in tradition, while Dubai fuels our love for innovation and forward-thinking design.

This project marks a significant milestone for us as we both celebrate our 40th birthdays this year. AFORMA began as an idea, a side passion, but we hope to nurture and grow it into a lasting legacy.
